I was born and raised in the Piney Woods of East Texas. My grandmother
was always canning something for our family to enjoy throughout the year.
One of her favorite’s was Chow Chow Relish.
What is Chow Chow ?
Simply put, Chow Chow is a relish using the best vegetables and spices that
were inspired by picking fresh ingredients from the garden. Made from green
tomatoes, Red & Green Bell Peppers, Onions, Cabbage, Sugar, Ginger, Vinegar
and spices. This recipe keeps true to those roots by accentuating them with
celery seeds, mustard seeds and fresh dill. You can garnish your favorites
foods with this relish… Bowl of beans, hotdogs, hamburgers, or just eat it
right out of the jar.
Hill's Southern Foods Barbecue Beef Jerky is seasoned with a blend of the finest ingredients, creating a flavor profile that’s both smoky and savory. The carefully selected spices and seasonings are infused into the beef through a tried and true marinating process, which lasts for a minimum of 24 hours. This ensures that every piece of jerky is bursting with the authentic taste of barbecue, delivering a delightful and satisfying snack.
